“I was amazed at how cleanly it cut the rubber. It slices effortlessly with no extra force, making it extremely user-friendly. [My Rubber-Cutting Track Record]
• First-time user
• Switched scissors from left to right hand after becoming an adult
• Rubber-Cut Certification Grade 10 with scissors
(Never managed a clean cut myself)
(Friends got mad when I cut their rubber)

With that background, here’s my honest review of the QLOP Rubber Cutter:

Conclusion:
It definitely cuts cleanly with very little effort—just a bit of technique.

What I noticed:
1) Needs less force than expected
2) Sharper than expected
3) Just align it to the edge
4) If you rely only on the blade, it can drift; keep it pressed to the racket edge

After experimenting, I found this grip works best:
• Hold the cutter with thumb and index finger, pressing the blade firmly against the racket’s side.
• Use the first joint of the middle finger to steady the racket’s edge, then bring the thumb toward the middle finger as you move the cutter.

On my second try I achieved this clean a cut—it’s honestly the first time I’ve ever managed it!
Seeing my racket afterwards, I thought, “That looks beautiful,” and my motivation soared.

I hope everyone learns the knack and that more players get to experience how easy cutting rubber can be with this tool!
